Prize in Architectural Competition
.
This project, designed by Sharon and Anton Urban, was awarded a prize in an international architectural competition. The plan proposed was based on the following aspects: All class-rooms were staggered on three floors, each connected to the roof garden terrace of the floor below, providing additional space to the class-room, where teaching and study could proceed in an informal, free atmosphere. The spaces below the class-rooms contained a gymnasium and assembly hall, two storeys high, and common services. Workshops and laboratories were housed in an adjoining building, the design of which resembled that of the typical factory of those times.
