The Ichilov complex went through two extensive expansions, executed by the Sharon shop, the first in 1966 and then in 1972-1982.

The complex was then known as the Tel Aviv Medical Centre. A key building from that period is the Dana Children's Hospital.

Architect in charge: Moshe Kletter. Assistant Architects: Ora Fradis and Yuval Geni.

The complex is known today (2011) as the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. The original building is known today as the Hospitalization Ward - Old Wing.
