Arieh Sharon > Afula, conceived as a regional centre for the Jezreel valley. The proposal was to divert the future extension of the city from the agricultural lowlands to an adjoining site on the western slopes of Givat Hamoreh, with industrial estates being located below.
Arieh Sharon > Tiberias. The new residential neighbourhoods are located on the slopes and ridges overlooking the lake. The 400 m difference in altitude between the sea level and the new upper town, provide more pleasant and cooler living conditions for the new population throughout the entire year.
Arieh Sharon > Beersheba, the bridgehead to the Negev and the southern desert areas. The masterplan provided for a commercial centre surrounded by residential neighbourhoods and a sizable industrial area based on the utilization of the Negev resources. The proposed population was 60,000 to 80,000.
