The name architect implies "Master of the Arts," one who will make gardens out of deserts.
Analytical drawing is training in exact seeing and exact rendering of the constructional elements of the object, its logical forces or tensions.
Without intuition we can do a lot, but not all. In the beginning, one is concerned with the functions, later on, one learns to look behind the facade, to grasp the root of things, to dig down, to uncover, to analyse.
