Competition Project

The project for the Charkov theatre and opera was inspired by Richard Neutra during his visit to the Bauhaus and elaborated by several Bauhaus students, headed by Sharon. The main idea was to create an architectural group of the four basic building wings: stage workshops; the tall stage building; the auditorium and entrance hall; foyers and restaurant building. These were loosely connected by bridges and passages. In this way, we tried to express the different functions in a clear and organic way.
